01 / The Challenge

The Challenge

Adventures by Disney builds family trips around the stories, culture, and experiences of each destination, with programming created specifically for younger travelers as part of the experience.

The Junior Adventurers materials needed to support that idea on the page. They could not simply be generic kids’ activities with a destination name added. The work had to connect children to what they were actually seeing and doing as the trip unfolded.

02 / The Shift

The Shift We Made

We made the printed pieces part of the adventure. Passports, destination books, puzzles, stamps, and illustrated activities gave younger travelers their own way to engage with the places around them.

03 / The Work

How We Did It

  • Designed destination-specific materials for trips including Alaska, Ecuador, Montana, Spain, Italy, and Wyoming
  • Created passport-style books, activity pages, collectible graphics, and keepsake pieces
  • Illustrated original mazes and hidden-picture puzzles using regional landmarks, wildlife, transportation, and cultural details
  • Gave each destination its own visual material while keeping everything recognizably part of the Junior Adventurers program
  • Built activities around observation and discovery, giving children reasons to notice details in the places they were visiting

05 / Why It Mattered

Why It Mattered

The materials gave children something more than downtime entertainment. They became part of how younger travelers experienced the trip, with things to notice, solve, collect, and remember along the way.

The story is already there.Let’s tell it well.
